Bay Area Historic House Museums has member-houses in seven San Francisco Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Sonoma. To be included, the historic site must contain a house.

Each House is independent and has its own hours, programs and amenities.

Introducing: Santa Clara Historic Homes, A Self-Guided Tour

Santa Clara Historic Home Tour Committee presents a historic walk celebrating historic buildings — Santa Clara Historic Home Tour. During the tour,  stroll through Santa Clara’s historic Old Quad, in person or virtually. You can also learn the history behind public and private historic sites while learning to understand the architectural styles and significance of Santa Clara’s jewels.

Celebrate the 2020 holidays with a stroll through Santa Clara’s beloved historic neighborhood, dating back to the 1850s. See the last farm still open to the public and the oldest train depot west of the Mississippi.

You can take a virtual look from your home, or, simply bring your electronic device (cell, iPad, etc.) as you stroll through this beautiful neighborhood. There are six different tours for your enjoyment.
