What is avm.

AVM means Almagamated Vehicle Manufacturers which is a bus and truck manufacturer from Zimbabwe. The company was founded back in 1961 and is headquartered in Msasa, Harare. The name AVM on Tour comes from using AVM buses for going around on tours in Zimbabwe.

Why AVM Buses?

The AVM on Tour project was born out of a passion for these AVM buses. We have a big bus community on Facebook called DAF AVM Archives where people take pictures of buses and share them and have discussions around them.

How Can I Be Part of Your Tours?

We have been having monthly tours, which we refer to as 'excursions' since February 2023. Be on the look out for the next travel date which is usually on a weekend. We have limited tickets on sale for each excursion be sure to purchase your tickets early in order to take advantage of promotions which may be running.

What Is An Excursion?

An excursion is a trip by a group of people, usually made for leisure, education, or physical purposes.
